Public Protection Field Representative 1 JOB SUMMARY: This person performs detailed analysis of the fire reporting and suppression capabilities of fire districts and municipalities to determine compliance with nationally-recognized practices, codes and regulations. The Public Protection Field Representative works with representatives of the fire districts and municipalities to gather the necessary information to complete evaluations. Personal contacts occur frequently with representatives of the Fire District or the municipality, such as, City Managers, Mayors, Fire Chiefs, City Attorneys, Building Department Managers, Water District Managers and Boards of Commissioners. Much of the work of the Public Protection Field Representative is performed independently in the field with little supervision.
